Construction number locations (E-G)

Introduction
Construction numbers (c/n), also called Manufacturer Serial Numbers (MSN), are the prime way to identify a specific airframe. In contrast to the registration (or tail number), the c/n does not change, even when owner changes occur.
(note: all 'left' and 'right' indications are as you look from tail to nose).

ELA Aviación
ELA 07
The manufacturer serial plate of this ULV Gyrocopter, is located at lower part of the mast, on the left-hand side, behind the 'cabin'.
Embraer
Most Embraer aircraft have an external plate under the left hand side horizontal stabilizer.
EMB121 Xingu
The plate is situated on the aft fuselage on the lefthandside.
EMB312 Tucano
The plate is situated on the fuselage below the lefthandside stabilizer.
EMB314 Super Tucano
The plate is situated on the fuselage below the lefthandside stabilizer.
Eurocopter
EC135
The plate is located on the outside of the helicopter, on the right hand side, just behind the last window.

EC145

As with its predecessor, the construction number plate can be found on the right side of the aircraft, below the rearmost window.
Evektor-Aerotechnik
Evektor VUT100-131i
The plate is situated on the fuselage below the lefthandside stabilizer.
Fairchild
Fairchild C-123 Provider
The c/n plate can be found inside the main cabin, on the bulkhead left of the door towards the cockpit. Can be read off when climbing the stairs towards the cockpit. Furthermore a similar plate can be found in the nose wheel well. To access this plate some acrobatics are required.
Fairchild-Republic
A-10 Thunderbolt II
The c/n plate can be found inside the nose wheel bay. Looking forward inside the nose wheel bay, the plate can be found at the left hand side.
FIAT
Fiat G91
A c/n plate can be found at several spots, though usually only the first can be seen when the aircraft is not taken apart.
- On the left side of the fuselage, just in front of and below the canopy.
- Only visible when the cockpit section and the engine section are taken apart, on the lower part of the forward fuselage.
Fouga
CM170 Magister
Between the two seats, the construction number plate is attached on top or on the left hand side of a bar in the centre.
Gippsland Aeronautics
GA8
The plate is situated on the fuselage below the lefthandside stabilizer.
